Bianca’s Haven’s Inaugural Fundraiser
On August 10, 2024, Bianca’s Haven’s held its inaugural fundraiser. A special thank you to Henry Ford Health for their generous sponsorship demonstrating a commitment to supporting initiatives that address pressing social issues.
Sheriff Michael Bouchard, Oakland County was an exemplary keynote speaker who shared invaluable insight during the event, which underscored the importance of community collaboration in combating human trafficking and safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
Heidi Warrington MSN, RN, CNRN highlighted the essential role of healthcare professionals in providing support to those affected by human trafficking. The contributions of Jeremy Locke and James Queen for the use of their beautiful and award-winning landscaped home, Donna Miriani and the amazing volunteers from BCBSM, Erick Haynes from Henry Ford Health, photographers Samuel and Denise Buckley, Bama Dogs, LLC., the Elemental band, donors, organizations that provided raffle gifts, and more than 130 enthusiastic attendees collectively made a significant impact in raising awareness and resources for Bianca’s Haven.
The collaborative efforts and support from various individuals and organizations to include Accent Florist, The Hudson Café, Skate World of Troy, Dr. Ryan Yanez Semlow Chiropractic (Troy), See Eye Wear (Somerset), The Art of Custom Framing, Dr. Ronald Sudomir, Cross Bridge to Recovery, and the Amish community, contributed to the event’s success and advancement of the crucial cause of combating human trafficking.
